When I painted this I was just having a play with some ideas for students to paint something a bit different from a standard landscape painting. I was trying to get into that summer feeling & create some warmth that the lovely sun always brings us each summer. I wanted to show how blissful it is & how we can all get lost with a summer book, listening to they sounds of nature. This was part of my MazArt Studio 2019 Workshop Schedule.
