The drawing of Paul-Michel Foucault (1926-1984) is inspired by the French philosopher Jacques Derrida in which he describes Deconstruction belonging to the Postmodern Culture where "uncertainty and self-awareness are now the issue. He suggests we question and re-evaluate pre-determined principles, shake our beliefs and try to look for meaning by deliberation with an unbiased eye so that we are able to find value in the ideas that are often overlooked.
