This is lovely, wonderful colours. What a shame no one would like to renovate this pretty, unique house.

Maybe draw attention to it by sending a scan of your painting to the local paper? There are buildings in this state of repair all over the UK - not "economic" to repair them; so in time they get pulled down and redeveloped; and the redevelopment is generally a blot on the landscape: off the shelf designs that replace structures which probably weren't actually planned at all, but grew organically. I've fallen off my hobby-horse now.... evocative and atmospheric painting.

Such a waste, but redevelopment would almost certainly strip away it's beauty and character ,as some developers have little or no taste regarding the preservation of buildings such as this. Fabulous painting by the way.

Hi all, I have been doing development for over 20 years and am also an architect. Now retired but lured back for 2 days a week by a developer friend. There are several very sympathetic tasty renovations in the area - see Longleys Doocot painting - This was beautifully restored recently. I think I need to trace the owner and find out his/her plans, Problem is I might find myself getting involved in more unwanted work and less time for painting Manus

Well then you deserve a medal - there's an ex-hospital in East Cowes on the Isle of Wight, which is rotting away and needs your urgent attention. The Frank James Hospital - look it up, and save it!
