Lovely watercolour. I liked your stylised way of painting. Can I ask how you achieve the dark outline of each section of a building? Is in ink or done with paint? I really love the purple haze over the scene.

Agree with Thea about the purple haze and I love how the sun lights up the top half of the buildings.

Missed this being posted. Another fine example of your work. I love the layering of colour as sunlight above the buildings. What's yoru texture here? Clingfilm? Nice to get away from the usual touristy views of Helmsley.

Lovely and unusual style.

Reminds me of walikng along the path "where you did this" a few weeks ago when the sunlight was low and the temperature was freezing. You have really caught the atmosphere well. I does look like Helmsley on a cold winters afternoon.
