A wonderful painting, but then you always paint wonderful pictures! I love the restraint in your work: I don't go for brash watercolours, but for subtle hues and the gentler tones, very much on display here. The figures are so well done, too.

Memory, is a pastel fondness, of gentle signatures, and whispering shadows, of achings stirred by gracious tears, of delicate treasured times. And so is this masterpiece.

Having followed rivers over moors and under bridges we now arrive at the sea. A wonderful journey, your gallery makes a great start to the day. I love the simplicity of shapes here and delicate colours. A real pleasure.
