Your paintings always hit a sensitive spot with me! The complementary colours and the transparency of your washes - your style is great. It's good to learn some of your techniques too.

My goodness, how interesting! I am tempted to have a go but suspect my attempt wouldn't look anything like your marvellous painting. Lovely effect and beautiful composition, I particularly like the way the stone wall has worked with your technique.

The technique along with the restrained palette this gives an eery dreamlike feel. Intriguing.

Overall wash with strips of cling film laid across the wash with paint dropped under the film to form horizontal and diagonal lines. The idea was to have a detailed farm building and an abstracted foreground.
