Some times it's difficult to know just how much detail to add or leave out. Like this a lot, the contrast with the buildings is just right. I agree with Michael, you have a super style of your own, there is certainly a lot to learn from them. Best wishes for Christmas and the new year Malcolm.

15 x 11 watercolour on 200 lb Bockingford paper. I'm quite pleased with the wall to acheived just enough detail while still painting every stone and losing some detail with the third wash.
