This painting has a cleaness and light touch that is so engaging. An interesting variation on your style and I like it. NB I may be wrong, Malcolm, but you don't seem to respond to comments on your paintings or post many (or any) comments on others work. If I am right about this (and I apologise if I am wrong) I feel it is a shame as you are such an accomplished artist that your response to people's feelings about your paintings and your feedback on other's paintings would be invaluable. I am sure we all have much to learn from you.

A very striking painting Malcolm; a nice change from your usual style. After your helpful explanations in the past as to how you did your Durham paintings I can clearly see how you produced this. I'm still saving up and waiting until I can get to that gallery. Any more Celtic designs in the offing?
