Overall wash from sky to the foreground then the sketch added using trace down paper from enlarged copy of my sketch book. Detail added and adjusted the sea wall from being vertical to slightly off line and lifted the distant sea horizon .The fence in front of the house was painted positive at the ends and negative in the centre. Scratching the wet wash with the wrong end of the brush in the foreground for texture and scumbling with a rigger when dry.
