Malcolm, this is amazing! You would think this was painted with your dominant hand. Am very impressed! I struggle with my normal hand to a halfway decent job... This painting is beautiful , love the detail of the dock, plus the light on the water. Beautiful. Get well soon.

This is wonderful and well done you for doing it with a broken wrist. I love the colours and I for one like the strong tones. Hope you heal soon.

Must be one those thank goodness for painting times Malcolm, at least you have your art to keep life ticking over for you! This is indeed marvellous work, interesting to see those stronger tones from you

Wow! Great work and carrying an injury too, thats impressive!

Watercolour on Bockingford 200lb not paper 15x11 ins. Painted with my left hand steadied with my right as I have broken my right wrist in a fall at work. I could not open my Winsor & Newton paintbox and nobody was up to give me a hand , so it is painted with one of my White Knight Russian paintboxes which accounts for the stronger tones. Luckily I had painted the sky and drawn the detail prior to the accident. I will have to look for simple landscapes with no straight lines for the next four weeks.
