Nice painting, Mike love your description too.

The title fits perfectly Mike, smashing watercolour.

Nice feeling of calm here Mike.

Very attractive. Lovely wide format with the beach receding into the distance.

thanks to all. It was my first time in this area - stayed with daughter and son in law - so new territory , new challenges , new experiences , and a repeat old one - bringing in 90 cows and some calves to yard, draft, and copper. can still do it.

I love the expanse in this. Peaceful with a hint of 'nature's force'.

Stunning, Mike, the "lead in" marks at the front are very effective .

West coast North Island , just below entrance to Kaipara harbour. virtually deserted beach but understandable in that a 4 wheel drive is needed to get through the sand track taking you there. Was introduced to drag net fishing - caught 16 mullet. It is really bags of damn all but has it's attractions.
