Thanks to all . A grandson , knowing my propensity for the ancient and decrepit , took me to see this one. It is on private property so one can't get close and personal - but it is different.

Another of New Zealand's "ruins" but with an interesting story (you take your pick , true or false) The house was transported from up north of the North Island down towards the bottom end of the same island - not an uncommon sight here in NZ to see houses being transported by very large lorry either whole or sectioned ) Anyway , the house was being re-assembled and the couple went their separate ways. The house was left unfinished in a large paddock and there it sits today
