"On Molesworth Station" in gouache
This is a station (farm) of 450.000 acres and carries 9000 beef cattle - 50 acres to 1 beast. It is the biggest one in NZ and lies towards the top of the South Island. People are permitted to make a day trip through the property - 90 ks on an unsealed road. Fantastic scenery. I have been fortunate enough to have visited and stayed there . A painters delight .
