I love this composition, Mike - especially the weathered wood and the lichen. I often like isolated objects in a landscape as the primary focus and you've done a wonderful job here.

Great composition. I like the way cast shadows depict the side of the fence that cannot be seen from this viewpoint.

seen whilst out & about. Lichen , supposedly, the indication of air purity - and ours is pretty good in the main . The sort of subject that appeals to me.
