Painted this scene myself - failed to keep a record of what happened to it, but I don't seem to have it now; perhaps I sold it! So I know what you mean about the foreground - I kept it in, I think, so the sea took on a sort of arrow shape. Wish I'd done it like this, now.... Dangerously "pretty" view - very hard not to make it look like a seaside postcard, but I think you've pulled it off, and did so precisely by editing the foreground out; you're obviously less literal than I am...
