These Cosmos are painted beautifully and the dark background certainly does give them more oomph as you say. You should be very pleased with the outcome.

Really like the colours in this too, very well painted.

This is a lovely painting of Cosmos daisies. I'm also keen on dark backgrounds. I always feel that a darker background makes the image stand out and adds to the drama! You've looked closely and these are excellent!

This painting is so dramatic. I've never thought of using a dark background before but can't wait to give it a go. Brilliant!!
