I like your style Lyndsey, is it watercolour or gouache you are using ?. I particularly like the fugitive effects around the border.

thank you David! I use watercolour. Mostly w&n artists in tubes which I squeeze out onto a palette and work from dry, and occasionally White Nights pans.

I like the way the couple on the extreme left appear to just have walked into the picture. There's a story going on here. The restaurant looks popular, and not too far away from us in Hastings. Maybe I'll get my husband to take me there one lunch time. We used to live in Spain and love Spanish food.

I know this place well and you've captured it's atmosphere brilliantly!
