I love your dogs, is pastels harder then watercolour or oils. I had a llasha, but ive tried in watercolour, but I found is so hard

Hi Lizzie.thank u for yr lovely comment!when I started with pastels at Christmas I had no control over them,a crazy medium to work with and dust everywhere.but I kept trying and trying and now I love soft&hard pastels.I also found velour paper fantastic to use it loves pastel and I feel I can get a better painting using this paper..I have to say I love oils too,I love the feel to oil,I only worked a small bit with water colour and it's not for me,I do see fantastic pictures in water colour ..keep trying that's what I do :0)
