Remarkable painting; I could tell you'd used salt, and sometimes that produces a slightly artificial appearance, but not here, it works well. If you like dolphins, could I suggest you take a look at Ken Bushe's website (Google will find him) on which he's been showing his River Tay dolphins, in oil, plus a few photographs. I like the transparency of your dolphins which gives them an ethereal appearance; and a fantastic variety of blues.

Lovely image. The texture you have achieved with the salt is smashing.

Its lovely, love the aqua and blue colours, and I think the crystal shine is from the salt, I'm new to water colours and was just wondering if that's what the salt does, would love to know how you use it.

I agree with above, lovely.

Thank you all. Will reply on your galleries.

Thanks Lynda for taking your time out to explain really appreciate it, I think I will have a go at it, sounds really interesting, amazing all the different techniques there are, kind regards Karleen, and Merry Xmas.

A new, and larger version of a pic from last February. This time, I used a lot of paint, a lot of water, quite a bit of salt, and a lot of luck! I forgot to photograph it before framing, which is why it might look a bit odd.
