This is so good. I love pastels - the instant colour and the feel - bit I can't paint with them as well as this.

Hi Lynda, Mark Harrison here...yes most of my paintings are square format as I like the formality of the shape. It lends itself to paintings with a strong sense of design that seems to be inherent in the square format. I like this pastel by the way, nice and moody.
