Very impressive Linda - the orangutan and the technique. Must look up to learn what ingris is.

Just have ...never thought it would be mountboard😆, I was thinking some sort of esoteric carpentry surface ( being in the shed).

I'm sorry not to expand on what ingris is........... it's a surface which is textured (a regular texture). The paper I used was called Hahnemuhle (beige). My first impression is that it is thin, but does feel a bit like cloth. I work in my shed (I should have mentioned that, sorry xx), but I'm presently time sharing space with my daughter in the shed (as she is studying jewellery so I wont allow her in the house with a flame torch!)..... so I get the comfort of the kitchen when she is in there :)

Nice dark tones for this Orangutan, its facial features are emerging from the textured surface, amazing technique and study.

I like his very much, very interesting.

Love this, Linda, great style, and a solid, powerful feel to it.

Superb in every way

Work in progress - I'm trying out a piece on ingris I found in the shed today. I want to see how far I can push the surface before it tears. Tomorrow is another day and I will see what happens.
