It's just a bit of fun Dennis, a 5 minute sketch. Her pained expression made me smile anyway. She obviously can't stand the heat! Apparently, the last June that we sweltered for so long was in 1995, the heat affected us so much Robson and Jerome stayed at No 1 in the charts for the entire month. lol

Too hot to paint (my excuse). It's even a relief to stand near the frozen food section of the supermarket at the moment where I usually complain how cold it is there :)

Thanks Lesley and Dennis. Just as well we have a sense of humour. We need it but I'll be complaining probably if it rains too much here later as is forecast :)

Just how I feel Louise. We have had very heavy rain this morning and it hasn't cleared the air at all. It's funny we spend ages waiting for summer and then moan - so British!

We love it really Adele whatever the weather :)

I feel like she looks! Too hot for me, I went go my GP's this morning and I walked in the door and it was bliss, they had air con on - I wished I had to wait longer!!

Never thought I'd say it but I do sometimes miss that Lancashire mizzel! I still keep an eye on the gallery to see what you're all up to but making stuff for my Etsy shop is what I enjoy doing most at the moment. A lot of the old regulars seem to have dropped by the wayside which is a pity, we used to have such fun!

Hi Christine. I agree with you about the site not being much fun now. Hardly any of the old regulars post now and that friendly feel has gone. I used to look forward to seeing what everyone was up to but now, I feel as though I've lost some friends which is a shame really. I'm not sure why this has happened but I see that comments seem to have decreased in numbers and some might think there's not much point if no one has much to say or joins in the friendly chat. I miss the old site. The top gallery choices don't help either. The top tens were so much fun. I used to look forward to seeing those and taking note of what was popular with the gallery users. the pol users opinions mattered to me but not so much now I'm afraid. I could go on for some time because I was so fond of the old site and I miss it greatly. The rain here didn't last long either :)
