Absolutely fabulous painting of the spaniel, I love pastels for dogs, they suit the subject so well.

Thanks Elaine for your comments. I love using pastels for all animals. It helps you when painting fur texture. I also love using either velour paper or pastelmat because you don't need to use fixative to preserve the work .
