Thanks very much everyone for your lovely comments, really enjoyed painting this. Inspiration was from a photo l took on a trip to South Africa 11 years ago now. Being on safari was absolutely fantastic, the best holiday ever! memories of the beautiful animals, the colours of Africa and light have stayed with me. I am hoping to go back there sometime in the not too distant future!
