Yes we do interpretate people’s expressions and that’s our problem, we can be completely wrong. We see what we believe, and believe what we see. Now that’s something to sketch Lewis. Lol. Cor what a hooter.

You are so clever Lew I am full time f admire r3 all of your clever drawings , “ Oh no not that woman again” I often sit in crowded places and draw people as they are at that moment in time. Do you do that ?

Thank you all for your comments. Yes, Sylvia, I do draw outside sometimes, on the last occasion in a hospital waiting room (with a friend). It can attract attention...so I don't do it as often as I should.

A while back I gave a talk to my art group about cartoon faces, and we got on to expressions. Some are easy, others less obvious. I drew a face very like this one...I consider it a middle-of-the-road expression...I asked the group what it was.
