I don’t know the books, Lewis, but I love your two old women.

Great drawing as always Lewis.

For me it has to be a couple of great characters, which would interest me to read the book Lewis.

Wonderful characters. The drawing shows so much of their characters, and would add a great deal as an illustration in the book.

Don't know the books but love your witches

Great details on this wonderful drawing, Lewis. Brian

Hope Esmie would approve! You know I do!! They're great!!! John, Linda... if you haven't yet experienced Pratchett, I strongly advise you to give him a whirl!!!

I haven't read any of his books but I love your old ladies!

Fantastic Lewis

I don't know the books either but do love these two and can see their characters in the way you've sketched them.

Illustrators have done these two many times, I've tried to ignore that and do my own thing. Granny Weatherwax on the left is a stern, frugal no nonsense type. Nanny Ogg on the right is more homely, more fun and a bit saucy. Chances are, if you read the books, they won't be as you've imagined them. If you don't know the books, they're just two old women. A3 sketchbook, pen and wash.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
