Pygmalion
I got the layout wrong on this one. It's my version of Pygmalion. My Pygmalions, the dwarfs, have made a giant statue of a woman, and are painting her to make her more lifelike. I didn't want to paint a giant woman with lots of little figures around her, so I got in close. Too close, because you can't really tell that she's a statue. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, as I'm sure you've noticed. Still, it was a fun thing to paint.
About the Artist
Lewis Cooper
Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
