Fabulous portrait, painted with a lot of love I can tell

Scrolling down, I was arrested by this face which is so alive. I would like to know if you painted from a monochrome or colour print. The flesh tones are great and the hair has volume and depths of colour. Well done.

Hi Peter The painting was taken from an old black and white picture taken in the early sixties.
