Alston by Len Burkinshaw

Many years ago when I lived in Morecambe I used to visit Alston to purchase patchwork fabric from a lovely specialist shop, I wonder if it is still there? This lovely painting brought back happy memories!

Yup = count me in - love the naive simplicity of this and especially the houses - they remind of my rural sculptures which I make out of found wood - entrancing and great fun! . Must post another.
