Colin Steed-Artist & Tutor. Your perspective is quite good Jim and you have used rich colours. That makes for a warm painting. Had you have used a bluer, lighter green for the distant trees and made the foreground tree a tone darker you would achieve more depth. You also need a dark shadow colour on the gable ends of the buildings and road. Also under the gutters and right-hand sides of the chimneys need some shadow. Because your medium is acrylic you can still make these adjustments. A good attempt Jim. I would love to see your painting after adjustments.
