Colin Steed-Artist & Tutor. You have captured the feeling of early autumn Jackie. Love the way your path winds it's way into the distance. Good strong colours in the foreground. The distance is soft and sit's back well. May be just a few to many trees in your distance. The rich brown colour for the tree is good. Leaves are not easy to portray though. Try louding your brush with a strong mix of colour. Then using the side, not the point, gentley draw the brush across the paper. With practice you should achieve a more brocken effect. I often use this technique for grasses as well. Good work Jackie.

Jackie Pouloutski sent in her version of Colin's project saying: 'I found it very difficult to deal with all the detail and would like to practise more with this kind of scene. I did this on rough thick paper and used a limited colour palette. I think it's great that the paintings sometimes get feedback from LP artists.'
