Highland Landscape

I love this exaggerated mountain and the vertical format and interesting shapes. It works well and the positioning of the group of sheep really balances the mountain.There is a good sense of depth in this painting due to the warmer colours in the foreground. The row of trees in the mid distance are a little uniform perhaps- it would be interesting to see if the addition of a little variation in height of the trees would work- - not sure! I really like it as is is.
