Sheelagh Doran sent in her version of this month's painting project saying: 'This is my first ever attempt at a coloured pencil drawing. I used a selection of Derwent pastel pencils, coloursoft pencils and graphitint. I only had 3 trial packs of six of each pencil variety so my colours were limited. I altered the background and the paved floor to remove some of the detail as I tried to get an impressionistic feel. The main difficulty I had was to eliminate flowers and get a less cluttered feel'.
