Bob McKay sent in his project saying: 'I changed the composition. After my preliminary drawing it turned into a pen, ink & watercolour. My idea was to have only the grassy area and hill behind in colour. But after doing this sketch, the rocks demanded a glaze of raw sienna over my original mix of Daveys grey and burnt umber. I loved the Lakes area in Britain where I rode my British-bought BSA in the summer of 1967. Bought it in Burnley when they were in the 1st division'
