Kingfisher by Leisure Painter
Harold Poyner sent in his project saying: 'I started this painting by first positioning a Kingfisher drawing on the paper (Sanders Waterford not paper). I then composed the background. I then painted the bird first. Then added in the background. In hindsight I think it would have been better raise the background higher behind the bird. I found Chris's article informative and a reminder to use basic principles for the best results'
