Detlef Brucker sent in his version of Judith's project saying: 'I started the painting with an ink drawing with quite a bit of detail; this often helps me to handle the brush with the watercolours more „freely“. I tried to keep the mass of plants and pots in the background fairly sketchy and to focus on the ones in the foreground only. The dark ivy over the door was difficult to tackle and I‘m not quite satisfied with all the stippling work. I am really looking forward to see Judith Milne’s painting in the next issue'
