Cherry Eye Bridge by Leisure Painter

Rosemary Hale sent the following comments on Gill's painting: 'This painting has plenty of life and was well drawn out initially I think – the bridge and canal read well. The sky is well painted and I like that you have changed it from the original photograph – adding the cloud shapes works well. The bare trees could be a bit stronger perhaps and the background very dark tone, a bit paler. And excellent that you achieved this painting with such a limited palette of colours – well done!'
