I like the spots of light coming down, I think you have got the feeling of the subdued light in the woods. I agree with Heather, too, a bit eerie….

Regular walk taken in all seasons this was painted from one such in the snow. The monochromatic effect is an attempt to reproduce the light and dark within the scene.
