Thankyou so much Margaret, it is so fascinating, and each blow seem to make different shapes/waves.. it's an amazing sight, and that's only if you are able to catch it at the right time..

This is my study of how the force of the blow hole reacts with the water, difficult to show on a painting, is like a circular wave with a large hose pipe spray. Amazing how the mind creates a thought. I painted this on watercolour paper in acrylics and inktence pencils...my intention here was to experiment with the shading to show the force...
