I’m there Lesley! A marvellous painting of this large expanse of water. Lovely depth and hills. Did you go down the Raiders road, through the middle of the Forrest? My last watercolour was painted along the Raiders road.

Oh Fiona, is this your back garden? Lol. Your so lucky, I did like your watercolour painting, and thinks it's those hills will mist that look familiar. Yes we did travel along Raiders road through the forest, a name that makes you think..lol...I've a few more almost complete painting, such a lovely area, we will definitely be returning. Need to find a suitable place, as the season is coming to the end, but not for us......

Lesley are you caravaning/campervan holidaying? There are two sites at Garlieston, a site called Dunroaming between kirkinner and Garlieston, a site at Burrowhead not sure about if they are open at this time of year? They’ve all got websites….I think. Did you walk up to Bruce’s stone at Clatteringshaws?
