That route is a joy, carboots? Do one occasionally. Nice immediate sketching just my thing Michael

Prolific-terrific. Style certainly suits the subject here, nice one.

I said before how I loved your immediate images and would like to emulate them Derek - the line drawings with paint. I'm not sketching outside yet but I will give it a try soon. I'm not a good quick sketcher but I've bought more Doust books and I'm enjoying the 'life' thing. And some characters, like Kathleen, are worth a shot. I'll have a go soon. You know, your limits can be equated with my inability. I'm trying to be brave. I have been afraid lots of times but it is frightening when I get a nice effect and then become afraid to spoil it with too much paint. I understand your reluctance with Kathleen.

Thanks for your kindness Willie.

Lovely painting Michael, beautifully detailed with much to look at. Not easy with watercolour but you have done it ever so well.

Lots going on in this painting Michael. I could happily look at a whole book's worth of these.

Thank you Satu and Adele.

a lovely busy scene with to take your eyes around. Like it.

Great informative little painting Michael.

Thanks for kindness Carole.

Watercolour. A bit messy with the paint but I'm learning. Joy! I love car boots and a good rummage. Corbridge is my favourite, on a Wednesday afternoon. Buyers come from Scotland and Yorkshire. Me and John, across the road, go on a Wednesday morning, if the weather is right. It takes us 40 minutes up the scenic route on the A68. What a joy it is!
