This is a study with Acrylics on paper. The view is worked up from a photograph, taken from the side of the Malvern Hills. The ill at ease angle of the subject trees in the foreground creates drama and suspense. The perspective of the distant valley provides depth, while emphasising the height of the viewpoint position.
