I like Ray Campbell Smith's watercolours too and I think you have caught his 'simple' approach here, not so simple to copy I have found!

Thanks Gudrun,Stephen, Margaret and Fiona. I've cropped the picture but not very successfully! And I agree with you Stephen, Ray's "simple " style is a lot harder than it looks!
