Thank you Sarah, it was a present from one of our sons it was just a plain wooden box so thought how to brighten it up hey presto plus i love kingfishers.

Thank you Heather i keep trying different things, i have never used spray varnish over acrylic paint before but it works👍

This was just a plain wooden box so i spray varnished the box first, i then painted a kingfisher i acrylic on the top and then spray varnished over that. A way of personalizing a plain item.
