A small corner of the vale

Nice light and like the use of greens here.

This remeinds me of Cezanne! Like the light captured in this as Ade mentions.

Referring to your blog, as well as your painting, I'd just carry on doing more like this, getting in more practice and acquring more expertise while enjoying the process. You could try thicker paint, maybe, a bit more light in the sky (white paint, perhaps with a touch of Naples Yellow or Raw Sienna will help you do that). But good greens, a slightly cool painting, but then - it is slightly cooler out there. Keep doing what you're doing!

No idea Sylvia...I based it on a National Trust photo so it will be one of their properties....
