Hi Katie...hardly recognise a word in the description...then I barely understand my own art. This is a very thoughtful & colourful composition...steam-trains & boats, smoke, steam and peaceful green countryside..Blue? as water or sky? Yes I like what I see. Perhaps the most interesting artwork that you have so far shown us? No aeroplane...?

I absolutley agree with Phil here K. I am afraid I havent the knowledge of printing techniques to appreciate the way this was created, but I certainly like the final image. One of my favourites of yours, Well done.

Okay, intaglio is a type of printing where the ink goes into the grooves. A collograph is a plate where you make raised textures to create grooves for the ink. Chine colle is the process of gluing bits of thin paper to the printing paper before you press the inked plate on it...its makes it more unique. Thank you all for your kind comments!
