Tiger's Nest, Bhutan

Kati, I would love to know if this was painted after your being there? The concept of the Buddhist monasteries...I presume Tibet.... fascinates me, in the way they cling to the mountain sides, and in their isolation.

Hi Ruth, no unfortunately I have never visited Buthan. I saw a picture of Tiger's Nest for the first time in a hotel in Malta and I liked it so much that I decided to paint it. It fascinates me as well this way of living on mountain sides, surrounded by forests. Kind regards, Kati
