Fantastic colours and what a composition!! Beautiful painting.

Beautiful. It would make a fantastic fabric .... like the paisley design.

What lovely colours you've used. Magical! I wondered what size it is and do you always paint in this style or was it something new for you? I know I'd like to see more of these ! Avril's right, it's like a fabric design.

Wow this is great. Would loove to see more paintings inthis style. You have hit on a unique style. I want one. (Got any others up your sleeve?) Jx

Louise, it's just bigger than A4, cut down from a larger sheet because I couldn't think how to fill it! I'm not sure I have a style as I'm always learning and like to try different things. I do have a few ink drawings with strong colours but this is the only one I;ve coloured in. Jean, I might just crack open my watercolours and have a go at another one :o) Thank you all for your comments, they're much appreciated :o)

You must play that mood music again - in fact, I usually paint better when I have music: seems to turn something on in the brain; wonder if you found the same - it certainly looks as if you did.

Fantastic colours...patterns ..full of energy!

I love this Kathryn! It's something I'm aspiring to do, but I have such a lousy imagination I can never get very far! It reminds me of fabric patterns too from the 70's! It's really lovely!

This is the outcome from playing mood music in art class. We were told to paint whatever we felt it suggested. (One for the amateur psycho-analysts I think).
