I was asked to 'do a red painting' for a 40th wedding anniversary. This was inspired by an Edwardian book cover which I'd bought at a flea market. It uses ink, watercolour and lots of gold acrylic although it appears white in the photo, (I did try to angle it to avoid the flash), set inside a painted border of ultramarine. It measures 20" x 16",
