Just like Sue Petty, had to log on for this one. The realism is unbelievable! How ever did you get such a black background in watercolour?

Don't know how you did it either, but it's a very effective painting - it's the colour that most attracts me,but I should be fascinated to know how you got a) that inkily dark background, b) those extremely believable water droplets.

I agree with all the above. This is just magnificent! I never saw a watercolour painting like that.

thank you all for you comments, the black background was just built up,started with a green, then worked it with darker colours until i got the result i wanted, the water drops are quite easy i just copied them from different photo's i took thanks again all
